Jomar Marrero

Sound Designer and Composer

Demo Reel

Hello!

My name is Jomar Marrero, and I am a Sound Designer and Composer originally from Puerto Rico. After having graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in Sound Design and minors in Music Production and Music Composition, I returned to Puerto Rico, where I worked as a freelance recording engineer at AQ30 Recording Studio and Alfa 2.0. I now spend most of my time either working on audio and music for Edenic Era's next game TransmuTowers, or teaching myself to code. This website is the result of some of the things I have learned so far!

Sound for Film

At the Savannah College of Art and Design, I worked in short films in a variety of roles such as boom operator, sound effects editor, sound designer, ADR engineer, and recording assistant.

ADR

At Alfa 2.0 Puerto Rico, I worked as a recording engineer for Radio and TV commercials, and in ADR sessions for trailers, short films, and TV series including Cowboy Bebop, Lost Beyond the Stars, Naomi, and Karma's World using Source Connect and Source Nexus for remote audio collaboration with their respective sound teams.

Music Recording

At AQ30 Recording Studios, I had the pleasure of collaborating on many recording projects with incredibly talented independent producers, artists, and groups such as Rafa Rivera, Henry Cole, Sharleen Santos, Luna Mir, Émina, and El Laberinto del Coco.
